Carb Issue
#1
I replaced my choke cable as the old one was sticking on. The bike started and ran before I did this, but obviously it was running rich. Now, it won't start, not even a sputter. I checked that it is getting spark to both cylinders, which it is, and the plugs are getting gas, now the only other thing is air, which it should be getting. I assume the carb is hooked up the same way as before, no spare hoses or parts. The carbs were not separted, or taken apart internally, so I'm at a loss now as to why it won't start. Anyone have an idea?

I bet the choke plunger (one for each carb) is always either open or closed no matter what your choke lever is at. You need to check the choke cable routing is done correctly, especially where 1 cable separtes into 2 cables on the left/lower side of air box - no binding, no tension, no pinching etc. If all OK, then open up the choke plunger housing at the each carb and make sure both are moving freely - it is spring loaded. When choke is sticking, it is the plunger that has some corrosion or gunk in the bore area and spring force can't overcome, unless someone messed with the choke cable routing while working on something else.
