remove valve covers, turn engine over, see if the cam is turning,if so adjust your valves

If it's an interference engine, your done. You wacked the valves. I don't know if it is or not? If it is, new valves are in your future.

An interference engine, in simple terms, is an engine that if you loose the timing on the engine (whether you break the chain, belt or whatever, loose the timing of the engine) the piston will hit the valves. There won't be enough clearance between the valves and the piston.
Makes for a BIG fire ball when this happens at high RPM!!! Even bumping the engine over will bend a valve on an interference engine with no timing. I don't know if this is the case or not with your engine. Usually not on a low compression engine like "most" quads engines have.
Let us know what you find out.
