08 KFX450 Problems

Default 08 KFX450 Problems

my bike is new only rode it about 10 hrs my exhaust gets cherry red even at idle is this normal? Also its very hard to start when its cold and runs rough until it warms up should it be this way or should it start easy and run smooth like a car with fuel injection?

Default 08 KFX450 Problems

Your EFI might be running little too lean causing the excessive heat in the exhaust. Check/adjust the TPS which can also cause hard starting when cold (too lean/not enough fuel). What did your dealer say about the problem?
