Default '07 Brute Force 750 fan problem

I purchased a Brute force 750 a few weeks ago and I'm having trouble already. It's overheating because the fan won't stay on. It will kick on for a second or so and then shut off. Any idea what's wrong? This should be covered by my protection plan right?

The fan turns off when the coolant temp reaches 190 F or so. It also turns off if there is electrical overload - too much current - by means of tripping the 10-amp circuit breaker. If your engine is actually overheating and the fan shuts off, that can damage your engine such as head warpage. Make sure there is nothing blocking the fan movement such as mud build up or twigs or any kind of debris which can increase the electrical overload. Warranty should take care of the problem if it's not caused by you.

I had the same problem one day on my 650. All it is, is the connector on the wire (under the seat) is either loose or bad. Get your ride hot, and then take off the seat and jiggle the wires.
