300 4x4 clutch
#1
My dad has a 300 4x4 around a 1996? and the clutch is acting funny. He's adjusted it where it works good in low range but will slip in high range. He can get it to work right in high and slips in low. Also going down hills it'll hold back a second and then start freewheeling. Give it a little gas to catch up with the motor and it'll hold back a little then freewheel again. Anybody ever run into this before? On the clutch, the book says to only adjust one of the screws but there are 2 on it. Taking off it takes alot of throttle to get it going but once it goes it won't slip. It's got me confused.
