Yes I did all the work to my Z myself, 1st year I did nothing to it, 2nd year I updated the piston/cams/intake/alba pipe/header/Henson clutch & took the Z all apart, Had the frame gusseted & powder coating, 3rd year I added the alba front end +2w+1f with the elka piggy/shock, I also added the G-force adjustable rear axel, & houser +2 steering stem & felxx bars... total coin?? I hav no idea...10k with everything, just guessing @ that #...but ya have to look @ protection/bars/sprockets & all the thing I just went threw + ..but I know if I added it all up, the wife would not be pleased....

lmao...I understand the feeling. Not married myself, but I can only imagine and feel for you my friend. That's a pretty penny. Hopefully that's including the price of the quad too! With all that work, that z should fly.
I've always wondered about reliability problems when it comes to upgrading pistons and all that on a quad, but from what people say on here...it doesn't seem to be an issue if done properly.
