ok guys 1st off im new here so i'd like to introduce myself im jason from ma , now 2nd i really need some help with my 04 prairie 700. i'll give you the whole story so you know what im dealing with, some time ago i completely swamped/submeged my p700( i know stupid!) any way i immediatly changed the oil,front/rear axles fluids several times, all seemed good then i didnt ride it much for a few month, when i went to ride it again it was flashing code on the dash and wouldnt switch from 4wd to 2wd...com to find out it got water in the actuaters, so i replaced both the engine brake actuater and 4wd actuater with some used ones off ebay....no dice! still flashing code. so sometime went on and just recently i was attempting to fix it again, so if u ride it the engine braking seems to work and when you turn off the key it makes that funky noise they do, so i assumed that maybe the front new/used actuater was bad, so i ordered a brand new front axle actuater nothing! still the same, so then last night i borrowed the engine brake/4wd computer off a friends p700 that was working perfect, plugged it in and same thing ,flashing a code! now if i pull the front actuater out of the axle and turn it on and switch the 2wd/4wd switch it does nothing till i turn the key off then it moves maybe a 1/4 turn but goes back to the same spot it started from. ive also had the switch apart ad it looks fine! by the way the code its flashing is back and forth 2wd/4wd fast.
sorry for the long post but im at wits end here and have got zero answers, ive tried borring my buddies serv manual to see if had any insite...wasnt much help, ive talked to dealers and people that work there and they all said they they are pretty much gonna throw parts at it until its fixed...not good! oh and just in case yes ive checked the fuse too! lol
