hi guys and gals, im new to the site and need some help.im looking to buy a bike from my friends daughter, here's the condition the bikes is -

the story - his grandson took it out riding and rolled it. it sucked water and died. he drained the fluids and filled with new ones. started running bad shortly after. the bike will start and run but one cylinder will "cut out" it'll run on both and then one goes out. so he changed the plugs and nothing changed.

im thinking its electrical, a guy i work with thinking the same, thinks it may be grounding out somewhere.

 

If it's just an electrical issue such as bad coil or ground, it wouldn't be too bad. If it's a mechanical damage from sucking in water into the crankcase, it could be very expensive.

 

Sounds alot like a moiture problem in a carb jet but you cant say for sure w/out cleaning them out !! ??
