I have an Praire 650 it starts fine runs for a few minutes then starts to sputter and in another few minutes stalls. Let it cool for a few minutes and again starts fine then sputters and then stalls. Any ideas? Thanks

 

You need to check the fuel flow from the tank to the carbs. Sounds like it's running out of gas.

 

Thank you for your input... I dont think it is the carbs because simply shutting down the engine throught it stalling would not refill the carb bowls. I am leaning toward the water pump because I disconnected the coolent output from the carbs and i have to rev the hell out of it to get any collent flow. Has anyone out they had a water pump failure?

 

I found out what the proplem was..Sugar.... A parting gift from my ex wife. The pilot jet was clogged with sugar.
