BELT SQUEALING!!!!!! SICK OF IT!
I have an 03 Prairie 360. I bought it almost brand new from a dealer. Someone had bought it and kept it 2 weeks, traded it in on a 650 and then I got it so I'd say I bought it new.
Anyhow, ever since I bought it the belt has squealed when it was under a load. Starting in a rut, stopping on a hill, punching it from a stop, things like that made the belt squeal. Now it does it all the time! I have to run it in low gear and then switch to high to keep the annoying sound down. It pretty much does it every time you take off with it from a stopped position.
Any hints ? I was told I needed a clutch kit to make it stop. Why would it do it from the brand new state?
I don't see any performance issues, its just annoying as hell. I'm tired of everyone turning their heads.

You probally need a new belt and adjustment. THen once thats done, use the low gear when you are supposed to (not that you arnt now just saying). Go to www.nyrocatv.com under tech tips section on how to change and adjust belt. It will be under the prairie 650 and such since its the same belt set up.
