Hi all,
I've been looking around @ clutch kits and it got me wondering. Why do they mention the altitude in which you will be riding? I understand you should choose based on your tire size but what does altitude have to do with your clutch springs????

altitude should only matter about carb settings. thats really wierd

 

i also have been wondering the samething......i am tryin to restore the lost power from bigger tires and the hesitation at the start!.....how difficult is the clutch kits to install??

 

They run different different weights in the clutch for different altitudes. I have never rode the mountains but I know the guys that ride sleds out there have I believe lighter weights in it.

 

not hard to install u need a removal tool 4 front clutch and a clutch compressor 4 rear clutch
