Default New Here...

Hello,
I'm a new user from Northern Ireland. I'll be picking up a 2004 KLF 300b in a couple of days for helping me with gardening work.

I'm a paraplegic who also rides an adapted Vmax trike. I hope to pick you're brains for a while and hopefully contribute well to the forum.

Cheers..

Fenty

Well hello! I'm not a very regular visitor to the forums, but saw your post and read it by chance...! Main reason I'm responding is because of my occupation. I work as a service manager in a company (Freewheel Mobility) that installs adaptive driving equipment in all sorts of vehicles. I'm curious to know what type of equipment you outfit your atv with to meet your needs? Please feel free to share pictures etc! The closest we've gotten to atv's is installing hand controls in a Polaris Ranger. We'd like to get into that market a little more...anyway, sorry to hijack your thread somewhat, but it just caught my attention!

Well to be honest I haven't started modifying my KLF yet but I have a lot of modifications done to my trike which would apply.

If you want some ideas there are a couple of forums for spinally injured living that I post on.

I posted a thread here that shows the mods I made to the trike...

Vmax Trike finished - CareCure Forums

If you scout around the rest of the forum and introduce yourself and what you you'll definately get lots of feedback about what is required for disabled adaptions.
A uk based forum found here Quadriplegic and Paraplegic Spinal Cord Injury Support Forum
even has a sub forum on disabled motorsports.
Also, do a google search on Rick James Motocross and Doug Henry. I think some of the video results will amaze you!!
