Default klf centrifugal clutch

Hi, I have just replaced the clutch plates on my bayou this morning and have also replaced the centrifugal clutch. When i replaced them i made sure that i cleaned both clutches and got rid of the sludge off the centrifugal clutch and housing. I now have a really noisey centrifugal clutch when it starts to take up drive. i now think that sludge was a speacial grease. can anyone please confirm this and if it is whats the correct procedure and where do i get it from???? the atv now pulls really well but found gear change is a bit harsh and centrifugal clutch is ver noisey. Please can anyone help?? many thanks
