Default kawasaki klt200 fuel pump ?

Hi guys
I have a ? about my 200 klt I am having a problem with my fuel pump
it appears to not be working it looks to be a diaphragm pump does anyone know of a replacement that will work for me that would be fairly easy to find
or if a kit to rebuild would be easy to find or can it be switched out with something like a small electric pump or somthing
Thanks theddaug

http://www.ebay.com/itm/KAWASAKI-KLT200-KLT-200-1981-1983-FUEL-PUMP-KEIHIN-OEM-49040-1002-ATV-ATC-PETRO-/400562408913?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d43614dd1&vxp=mtr is up for buying. Also If you look at the specs, I think it says the fuel pump should pump up to 1.2 - 2.2 psi to the carb. If you can rig up a comparable pump to supply fuel to the carb, should be fine.

If all else fails you could always cut the plastics covering the area where tanks are on every other bike. Make-shift install a different tank and throw a fuel hose from its petcock to the carb, eliminating the necessity of a pump all together.

Are you sure it's not an electrical problem or that the pump just doesn't need some fierce cleaning?

Can turn the key on and check the voltage at the pump see if it's hot at all. Did it recently stop working, or did you buy it like that? If there isn't, look for damaged wire, not sure if there is any kind of fuse or not but check that if there is.

KLT200/250 Service Data
That is the service data for the KLT. Sound like the bladder is damaged or one of the valves. You may be able to find replacement components on Ebay.

If nothing else, create a thread on 3wheelerworld.com, in the ATV Classifieds forum and see if anyone has any parts for sale.

The specs say anywhere from 1-6 psi I believe. So it fits the range, just have start at 2.5 and see if it supplies the needed fuel amount over 30 seconds time. I don't know how to rig it up to work with the ignition though.
