I've found a '85 Tecate 3 for sale in excellent condition, for $620. How does this bike compare to the Honda Atc 250R, in terms of speed, and in engine power? Please help me.

The tecate compares very well with the Honda in terms of speed and power. The Kawasaki has a powerful motor, but was lacking in the suspension and handling department when compared with the 85 250R. If the wheeler is in good shape and runs well then I think $620 is a good deal. One thing is for sure, it will be fast.

The Tecate lost to the 250R in the shootouts but was rated a better three wheeler for racing. The power was supposed to be for experts only so I bet it will be a pretty wild ride. As long as the machine is complete, runs and is in good condition then I would consider the asking price a good deal. The bummer will be that aftermarket parts will not be as plentiful as that for the Honda but who cares, you will be riding a classic.

For that price! ****** it up! these are becoming collectors items, (well at least for me) there is never going to be another trike made, especially one like that. The people w/ ***** enough to ride em' are also a dieing breed these days.
