My friend and I where on his skidoo the other day and burned probably 2 millimetres an inch long on each side of his belt. Could barely notice by looking at it. This caused it to skip really bad almost like something was in the track. If I where you I would switch the belt first and if there is still a problem try something else. Hope this kinda helps
