Default Dead Mule SX

Found an unusual, and frankly worrying fault on one of those new Mule SX models. We supplied it in about October last year with a cab fitted. It came in for first service about a week ago, but being the only one we have sold, “the boss” hadn’t got round to stocking filters etc, for it. So, while waiting for parts, drove out of workshop at start of work, and in again when “knocking off”. I came to drive it out on Friday and it was electrically dead. Had we left ignition on? Put charger on for an hour and tried again, nothing, checked main fuse, OK, checked for power at main fuse with test lamp, nothing! Parts came yesterday so I decided it was time to sort it out, and found the main lead, which takes all the power except for the starter, had rotted through, nothing but blue verdigris where it should connect to the battery terminal, thickest wire on machine, except for starter leads, gone, on a new RTV. Only thing I can think of is, Kawasaki using the wrong flux when soldering the battery terminal on. Terminal itself is still bright and shiny.
