This was on ATV Magazine's web site:

"Stories are circulating around the All-Terrain offices that go something like this... Kawasaki has one replacement for both the KVF 300 and 400 quads.

This new ATV will likely be powered by a 360cc single and if anyone around there is thinking, it should have the same auto tranny, shiftable 4x4, difflock, digital display, high quality shocks, plastic racks and all the other goodies found on the 650 twin.

Kawasaki has been successful with their 300cc and 400cc quads in the past but these ATV's are a little under accessorized in the face of new offerings from everyone else. They definitely could use a more upscale replacement. Hey, wouldn't it be cool if this new ATV turned out to be a 360cc V-twin? Stay tuned!"

That is very interesting. If the bike would still weigh 606lbs., then it may be too underpowered for the weight. But if it would be a v-twin 360, then that would be a different story. If they could make it around 450 lbs too, then it would be great.

Thats exactly what I'm thinking. A 450 lb 360 would be an excelent machine for my boys.

It is a 360cc air cooled single. The transmissions are identicle. It will be in basicly a 650 frame so it should have all of the new goodies that the 650 got. The top end is completly new. Not just the old 300 punched out.
