The issue (Dirt Wheels)had "spy" photos of a dual exhaust machine. A Kawasaki executive said he couldn't even confirm that it was kawasaki people out there. The same picture was posted on these very forums about 6 months ago. Boy Dirt Wheels is really on to something! Non the less, it is a fourstroke and they said it could wear the Tecate name. It is all bull in my opinion.

Take a wild guess who they contacted for that pic.... It was housed on my webserver and is still there.

Kawasaki Spy Photo

I put them in contact with the guy who took the pictures. Still haven't received my free subscription

My guess is more along the lines of the existing V-twin 650 than some non-production 600cc engine

What the hell? That ain't no replacement for the Mighty Tecate-4!! It's a FOUR-STROKE! There's no smoke coming out the pipe(s). Plus, it's got HONDA RED PLASTICS!!! AAARRRRGGHHHH!!!

It's wearing more than Honda red plastic, it actually was 400ex rear plastic and Banshee front. On the "all bull" issue Kawasaki is obviously working on sport machines and of course they won't be two strokes. It's equally obvious that a Kawasaki exec and any other manufacturer would refuse to confirm an unannounced product. More patience is in order for those of us pining for a new Green offering. Just keep your fingers crossed that all the development time is put to good use in the form of a highly competitive release.

Arizona650, I too think Kawasaki is working on something. Hell I atleast hope they are. I just don't like the way Dirtwheels reported on it. Their reporting is all speculation and with no facts. We can do that kind of reporting right here on the forums! I just recieved my NOV issue of ATV Action and it's in there too.
