Prarie Ty,

Careful with the tires man, you could really bog it down. I feel the drag of big heavy tires, and have two cylinders bigger than your one cylinder.

Blackwater XT and Dirtdevils are light weight and ride good, I hear.

Might try mudrunners if you want to get more serious into the mudding capabilities. Mudrunners are good for mud but aren't all out like the really aggressive stuff.

Make sure that whatever power kit you get comes with an aftermarket air filter. Lots of power can be gained by a performance filter.

Prariety,
You could go to different tire manufacturers web sites and make weight comparisons on the rubber,if you go with the performance kit (clutch, pipe, jet, filter, ect.)you could go to 26" tires w/out a power loss,I wouldn't go any bigger though. This is what I did on my 300KQ when I had it,just keep in mind there is only 300cc's.I don't know how big a guy you are,but you also have to factor that in also,my wife's Prairie go's like hell with her on it she is 4'10" and 115#,but when I get on it take's a little longer to wind her up(6'1" 240# me)I have the mud bugs on my Vinson, they are a very light tire for a 6 ply 27" and ride pretty good too! They ride much better than the blackwaters I had on the '01 KQ.Good luck with your purchase!
