seeker, I don't know my elev, but I'm proly around 1000ft. I tried the 5th notch on the needle, and got a hesitation at low rpm, stabbing throttle. Moved to 4th to lean a little, works perfect. I would guess that the pipe you have is the difference between my notch setting and yours.

dust, I do not believe there are any other stages available other than stage 1. However, they give you a bunch of jets. I did not count them, but you can definitely change stuff around. They give you pretty clear instructions as to what to use at what elevation, and if you have a pipe. I posted my jets on my sig to help people out. I will probably not get a pipe, since I like it quiet.

The reprogrammed CDI is supposed to give better results than a pipe or other intake stuff. I will wait for that and see if I can just skip the pipe. These things add together a bit. I like how my 650 runs right now. It seems to run a lot better than stock, not just power, less cold blooded.

Roc,
did you notice any diffrence in the taper of the needles between the dynojet & stock?
is the stock needle adjustable?
clip 4 is about .040" shimmed from stock..
did you richen up the primary mix screw any, if so what is the setting?
airbox mods have a lot to do with jetting as well as elevation..
but...when it is right..you can't pry the grin off your face.....
Thanks..
