Prairie 650 vs 700 vs Bomb vs Rubi
#1
OK guys I do not know where they got it the Bomb out pulled everything in it's class unless they slowed the sled somewhat. The Bomb finished dead last in tight soil against the Prairie 650 and Polaris 700. The Rubicon even out pulled it on the slope. 1 more thing we broke a foot rest (in mud) and get this unless we can find a suitable replacement it is going to be very expensive over $150 to fix on the Bomb. The 700 had one problem as did the 650 the 700 smoked the belt took it to dealer and at 500 miles they replaced it but then we smoked it again call EP about clutch spring on way, The 650 wanted to lift the rear I think because of the hitch being low we even getting EP to send a Secondary Spring for it to raise the grabbing power to see if it makes a difference. The rubicon pulled good but when the weight got high it dug in and would not keep it's power sort of like bogged, but hey it impressed me how far. The guy who helped us said all four could use a more centralized pulling location to do this he said the low hitches we not optimum for this as the pull angle was wrong to begin with unless the sled was lower all sled test are construed to as which one actually get the most traction on that angle at the rear. Test rider 250 lbs.
650 127' 1100lbs Stock Tires
700 123.5' 1100 lbs Stock Tires
500 Bomb 117' 1100 lbs Stock Tires
Rubi 115.5' 1100 lbs Dirt Devils (Sorry Guys he had the dealer change em)
Hope this helps as it was unbiased and no advertising effecting out pulls lol...BTW the Bomb will take on water in it's front box when in the mud. Delaer suggested it was us not sealing the box properly but I believe if you just can't shut a cover then that is terrible. But the Bomb looked pretty nice.
