Boy these fourms are great...makes getting advise easy...thanks..I finaly decided to get a trailer built..This guy does it in his spare time..really does a nice job...I am getting a wire mesh floor...maybe it woun't catch the wind like plywood...also if you park it on the grass ,in the yard it won't block the sunlight and kill the grass under it...what do you think.??

Good idea! Mesh is lighter too. Make sure he puts lots of tie down loops on it, use 15" tires too. Nyroc's post about axle location is important too. Make sure your trailer jack up front is a swing-away type if you want to open your tailgate if you pull with a pickup. I almost made that error. I ended up with $525 in mine doing all the work my self but I got the Town Car wheels out of the warranty scrap at work for free{blemished}. Oh yeah, put fenders on it, dirt roads throw mud and rocks bad. Go for it!

The mesh is a good call as you can always put plywood down to haul sand or rocks. Plus when washing your quads the sand and mud will go straight thru.
