Lakota .vs. Blaster
#3
I always hier the blaster takes a lakota easy. I ran against one when my quad was stock and they were about even with the blaster just nudging me out on top end. But I way 230 and the kid riding the blaster was about 130.
I race against modded blasters all the time and they can't come close now.

Ive raced blasters with my 2002 Kawasaki Lakota Sport 300.I only have a SUPERTRAPP I.D.S2 exhaust with header pipe,K&N air filter, and jet kit.The blaster had about the same mods as mine, when we went for it the blaster took me on the long run(top speed). But, when it came to fast curves and sharp corners(track) i passed him a couple of times.Im like 190lb and the guy on the blaster was like 150lb or so. Both quads have great power and are great to drive.

I know a stock blaster is just a little slower than a piped honda 250x. The lakota having an auto clutch, i'd have to say the blaster is faster.

Having ridden both, the blaster would edge out the Kawi, on flat ground with a lite rider. The 6th gear on the blaster allows it to (eventually) pick-up some more top speed given the right conditions. Where as the lakota has been set up more for low end and mid-range use.
On a side note: I'm sure any of us "full size":-) (6'- 200lb) guys who have ridden these two machines will attest. The 6th gear on the blaster is only good on downhills, and the lakotas rear racks are quite literally a "pain in the rear" in aggressive/rough terrain riding...:-)
