Protect those Thumbs boys...

I'd have been more comfortable up front I think. The middle kinda sucked as when we started out after a break, someone always seemed to have to hurry up to be in front of me, and then dick off. I rode last for a while, and that way I could back off and then make it back up.
I hope Cliff (big ape on my SP) wasn't too bad with his Kawasucki comments etc. He's pretty belligerant, but once you get to know him, he is a blast provided you can brush off his attitude. He's particularly funny when he gets off camber in a mud hole and won't let off until he rolls it!
Did you really get stuck trying to follow JJ's SP335?
Hope someone got a pic with the SP wheels out of the water in the hole!
That Vamp combo is KILLER for mud with bite/bottom!!!
I got stuck big time on that huge boulder where Chris got stuck first. That rock was huge.
You guys were a riot in those holes; fun to watch. I can see you guys have had some serious playtime in that type of arena.

Well, Cliff said JJ went right through that back woods track before you, but I wasn't there. to see it.
When we ride, we usually look for nasty holes and play around, wallow them out and see if we can get stuck. If the hole is wide enough, we race to see who gets roosted on OR do like Ostie did when he crashed that hole and laid the 300 Honda full.
Had it been a convenient rest area, I'd have gladly let you take a turn on the SP through the hole. Fact is, I'd have liked to have tried the Prairie on this ride in a real world situation as I honestly think the Rincon and Prairie are more evenly matched than people give the Rincon credit for...
Overall a GREAT bunch to ride with. ALWAYS someone ready to jump in and push someone out or hook up the cable! A very selfless bunch.
My email addy is on my web site if you'd like to drop a me a line.

I'll see you guys on the trail; the sooner the better.
