Default V 700 at Edmonton Bike show This Weekend

Hi Alltoys, when I saw the 700 at Cobo Hall, it had been buried in the basment and hidden away from all who might see it, but I found it. when I was looking at your pic's, there is one of the rear diff. the quad I saw had a gold annodized plate under the ring gear housing bolts, it also held the skid plate. the thing thats got me curious, is what promped them to change this, and add material at this late in the game? since they are all but in the dealers.

Are you talking about a skid plate. I didn't see a skid plate on the one at the show I was at. Maybe there will be an add on for the production quads. I thought this one in the show was put in all the shows that is what the show barker said. I think they will say what ever they want for a quick sale anyway. I would rather find a dealer I can trust somewhat and deal with them. Tell me more of the plate you saw I am interested as I have been in contact with kawi reps lately and I have some more questions for them and this could be another one.

I was trying to think what would benifit from the reinforcing ring I saw, I think theyare trying to keep the swing arm & ring housing from cracking! if I see through to the end , all the test rides like the one you were on probablly yeilded some problems they didn't find up front, so now they are playing "catchup". I really didn't find any thing wrong with the machine, but I don't know if 3gallons of fuel will be enough. and without a pull start I have to worry about jump starts.I will see as soon as they hit the dealers.
