Stalling problem
generally I have to choke it to start it again, sometimes she'll start without the choke after it sits for :30 seconds, but without the choke it will either die again, or run at about 500 rpm for 10 - 15 seconds before it gets up to full idle again, & if I try to hit the gas to get it up to the normal idle rpm it will just die again.

Stalling problem
I was going to try & keep backing the pilot screw out until maybe it did some good, I have it at about 2 1/2 turns right now, I think it's helping.. Yea the idle seems to be okay, Iv'e played around with that alos.. Is there a needle in the carb that also controls how lean or rich the engine runs, I was wondering if something else needs adjusting.

How hard was it to adjust the valves. I need to take a look at my daughters new ozark...she had a little stalling problem after we owned it for three months...called the dealer and before he even looked at it said it would cost a $150 bucks to reset the valves. What level of mechanical expertise would you say one needed...thanks for the info...where do you ride in ogden area

Stalling problem
It was not hard adjusting the valves. The hardest part is getting to them, for me that ment removing the left tire, the iner wheelwell cover for the exhaust vavle, & for the intake I had to remove the gas tank. That stuff just requires removing bolts & screws, not to bad. The vavle adjustment itself is just about as easy as gaping a plug, you just need to get your engine set at TDC & then get your feeler gauge in there & check them. If there off just loosen the lock nut & then there is a screw on top you adjust the gap with. If you dont have a manual I'd suggest getting one, it will give you all the details as far as how you get your motor set at TDC & where to check that at. If you need any more tips or help let me know.
This winter I have been riding the snowmobile trails on Monte Crist & the Mirror Lake Highway. In the Summer close to home I usually just ride up to Willard peak, or the trails around Bountiful peak, but my favorite is the Unita's mountains, there's all kinds of trails up there.. Lots of places to ride in Utah, especially southern part of the State, I just havn't made it down there yet..
