Where to get a p650 belt
Ok just got 180 miles on the quad and the belt went to Smitherine while pounding through a pond on the farm.....Gone, 50 pieces @ least! I have the black spring, and when I put it in @ 60 miles I took out the biggest of the 2 shims. The belt squeeked lightly for about 10 miles. What could of made it go soooo quick? I did have a mouse build a nest in the belt guard twice w/all the xtras including dog food. That is like the only thing I can imagine that took the belt to the limits....little nibble here and there, possible?
Looking on the net for the belt to a 2003 Prairie, and no go! Nothing. The dealer isn't open on Mondays. I figured I'd get a couple prices and order a few belts with the luck I have...from the cheapest place. How much is a new belt anyway?
Please help!

I took out the small shim cause from my calculations the large shim would have decreased the deflection too much and made the belt too tight. Maybe I am wrong but time will tell. Gonna pull it apart to check again since I gave it it's first major workout last weekend.

Thanks for the good news on the belt price... WOW. Well I did call the dealer and told them about my nice broken rear fender too. @ 20 deg F it snapped right off...with a little help from a girl not paying attention. But still I've whacked soo many others and still no broken plastic from them. This was like a little love tap..unexpectedly of course. They said to bring it in and they could possibly get the belt under warranty, and the plastic for sure. I just wonder what they will say about having the light already reset and the other xtras. They seem pretty reasonable, nice country people.
