Kenda is right about tire sizes in general. They are almost all shorter that the nominal. I have owned 6 different tires, and they have all been between .25 and .75 short at 5 psi.

letcherky, the fronts are supposed to be a little shorter. The fronts should ideally roll 2" less then the rears in one revolution (with the quad on them). If they are even, it makes steering 4x4 mode difficult. If they are 4" off, then they cause a lot of drag when in 4x4. 2" or so appears to be the ideal. Rolling distance does not equal circumference, and depends on tire pressure, tread, surface, ply, etc. It can only be measured.

Measure a set of GBC tires sometime (Gators, Dirt Devils, etc.). You'll start feeling really good about the size of the Bearclaws. Oh, and my 26x12-12 Blackwaters measure 24 1/2" on the stock rims.

nyroc,

In this quote I meant to say I will measure them off the machine not off the rim. I haven't done that so once I do that and get rid of the weight of the machine they may be closer to the 25.2" that Kenda says (which is at 7psi). Any you're not being a butt, but making a valid point. Point taken and I will post what I find.

No, I haven't measured them off the rim. I will do that and post results.
NovaKaw650 - Yeah, I know what you mean. I've hear about the GBC tires. That really blows.

This is all a mute point I guess since all the tire manufacturers don't manufacturer to the specs they list. I guess it is kinda like Kawasaki advertising the Prairie 650 when it is really only 633cc.
