I can't answer your map question, but I sure would be interested in your opinion about the Rhino 120. I was thinking about getting a pair and my first impression is that the map screen is not very high res. Specifically, how do the radios work and what do you think overall of the GPS capabilities and features?

The radio seems to be better than my other motorola 5 mile radios as far as reception goes
and for the other it has done all I want from it. I hope to keep better track of my son's while
Hunting. Sending your position and receiving others positions has been working out real well for me.

I have the garmin rino 120 too. I think it is ok. I don't like the "click stick" button on it - too small. And the rino shuts off by itself sometimes from the smallest of bumps. Other than that, it has worked well. Lots of features. I don't use the radio much, so if I was to do it over again I would probably go with the garmin legend.

I have had several gps units- from the basic accunav and accumap to recently a lowrance global map 100. But the last unit I bought was a lowrance ifinder plus- I am very impressed with the detail. The mapcreate 6 is on 2 cd's. The data is downloaded to a mmc or sd card- now you can get a 256 meg size. I live in southern WV and the detail is amazing. All secondardy and gravel roads are shown, and alot of the dirt logging roads! There is another program called oziexplorer that you can make custom maps and download to it. If you want some good gps info, go to http://ubbx.groundspeak.com/6/ubb.x . The forum is very detailed with gps info. Also it is mostly garmin and magellin users. Hope this helps
