Default Anybody Take Off The V-Force Snorkle

Does the V-Force run better with the snorkle removed or did anybody try to modify there snorkle. I want to buy the snorkle for the V-Force but till it comes out I want to try and take it off or modify it and jet up.

Did you replace the snorkle with anything or did you leave it open, also what did you rejet to with the holes. Thanx

There is a baffle in the air box did you leave it alone, I was wondering if taking the snorkle out and not replacing it with a hose would make the air to turbulant, I figured that was why people buy the aftermarket snorkle instead of just taking the snorkle out. Or do they replace it because they are just afraid of water. Thanx

In your link it looks like you have your snorkle removed and holes drilled, am I wrong do you only have holes drilled and it gained that much power. Thanx
