i recently got an 88 tecate 4 that is in great shape all except for one thing, the engine is disassembled. i have tried to find a service manual with no luck. i need the pages taht have the engine disassembly and assembly instructions, and diagrams. my e-mail is dave_o420@hotmail.com. if anyone could help me with my problem i would really appreciate it. i want to go ridin!!!

Ok, I sent through the fax. Your probably not the store's best friend right now. 28 pages and 40 minutes, LOL. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Anyway, I sent section 4- Engine top end & section 8- crankshaft/transmission. You'll probably need the left & right side sections as well and maybe engine installation but let me know how you make out with this first.

yea the store owner said that he had to run to another store to get more paper. thanks again. i really needed the transmissin pages and diagrams but if i need more i'll let you know. if you need to know anything about a 250R let me know. i really appreciate the pages.

 

Glad I could help. Let me know if you run into trouble, I've rebuilt two seperate tecate's from the ground up. I traded the last one for the prairie 650 (getting too old for racing).
