You can order a lower rad guard from a 2003 prairie which is under $10 and does a better job of keeping the mud out of the rad.

I'm not sure about the fit with a winch, I haven't installed the guard yet, just read about it in another post. I'm sure there are plenty of guys running '03's with winches installed so I can't see it being a problem though.
