Default ATR,s and C-Series on P650

I am considering this tire and rim combination for my Prairie 650. Anyone have any experience with this combination? I believe theses tires will work well for the type of riding I do here in Western PA.
How do these tires work in the mud and snow? I have read somewhere, not sure where, that the C-Series rim on the P650 make the front end wide. How much wider does it make it? Any other comments on this setup would be appriciated.

Thanks for your help.

Since you will be running the same size tire with the ATR's as the stock Dunlops, then there is really no need to upgrade your wheels. The stock rim is a .160 wheel & I have seen a lot of 26,27 & 28's on the stock wheel. Not me, when I jump up to the heavier 27inch tire, I then also went to the C-series wheels. The C-series will put your fronts a little bit wider but with a 25inch tire, I'll be surprised if you notice it. Instead of spending the extra bucks for the C-series, you may want to get a pair of Progressive Front Springs, along with the ATR's, you be amazed at how much better input/feedback you will get over the struts.

I run mt ATRs on stock rims and will put them back on as soon as the smow and mud are gone. I run mud lights in the snow or mud I keep them mounted on C-Series rims. If I go someplace that I dont know I often bring both sets . This combo is hard to beat .I tryed to find one tire to do it all but in Montana its a pipe dream at best and more than delusional. I have winter and summer tires for the cars and truck why not the quad.

PAPrairie 650,
I recently purchased C-series rims and ATR's. Hope to put them on my 650 this weekend. I will use the ATR's for a "summer tire" and my 589's for a "winter tire". I see your from Centerville. If you ever want to ride Palmer Park in Donora let me know.

Does the ATR's protect the C-series rims well? Any dings on the rims?

The atr tires have an offset (so to speak) that protects what ever rim it is mounted to. I mounted mine on the stock rims and i have beat the s#$% outta those tires. No dings yet and no tears or flats.

i have the c series wheels and the atr's onmy 650. I ran this combo down at the Hatfield last weekend. The only bad thing i can say bout this combo is i had some trouble getting a couple the the tires to seat on the bead without a leak. I did order the tires and wheels as a combo from dk. Other then that i can says its not the same machine wiht these tires on it.

I went riding today for the first time with my new ATR's and C-series rims. It has brought back the "sport utility" to my quad. It is once again fun to ride in 2wd. I will save my Titan 589 for the wet winter months.
