i have two buddies that i ride regularly with , both with pol 500ho. i can give them a good head start and i still blow past them, and thats with 26" tires. off the line its not even close. i leave them in the dust. on the trails, same thing. they cant keep up. 650 is way superior to any polaris quad.

 

I heard the prarie 650 would beat the sp700 in a drag race, so just imagine what it would do to a 500.

 

I run the Local ATV club ( Great Northern ATV ) We have the 500s and a 700 in the club also a new 660 . I can beat them all. In fact since I sold my 660 I have not ben beet in a drag race on ice dirt mud or pavement by any 4x4 quad. I think I have raced them all.( We are going to have annual ice drags if you want some fun ) By the way I like the 500 much better than the 700. . Sorry rambling I smoke the 700 in a drag race. Hillcilmb,fireroading,on sand in, the snow. But is that the point the guy who has it likes it and thats all that matters to him. ( I on the other hand think its good to be king and I am ).

 

i have a 03 polaris 700 twin and my neighbor has a 2001 polaris 500 HO and i have dragged with him many times and the 500 is dead even with me every time and sometimes ahead. dont count out the 500, they are fast.

 

The 650 is faster

 

Yeah, I own a SP500 HO and I know a Prairie would kill my SP500. It should-my SP 500 weighs 697 lbs plus the weight of the front and rear bumper while the P650 weighs 606 lbs. It has 2 advantages, it has a 133cc more than me and it weighs less.
