FYI, The Kaw wet brake oil IS Mobil 424 just in a Kaw bottle, there are cross reference's though, as they mentioned the Citgo oil in the manuel.....bottom line is ANY tractor transmission hydraulic fluid will work AS LONG as it is APPROVED for wet brakes.....be sure to look for the wet brake approval, about any tractor supply or garden center or even auto parts store should have it or be able to get it..........

 

I changed the front and rear gear oil in the Kodiak (94) tonight. How can you tell when it's "full"? I don't have a manual for the specs.

Don't use THF in the Kodiak unless specified by Yamaha. You probably need to know the proper amount (usually in cc's) no check hole? Most quads don't have one.
