i put a stick through the rear seal where the front axle joins,it is right by the 4wd actuater.does anyone know if this seal will come out or does it have to be pressed out.dealer is not helping an d myservice manual does not say how.maybe i dont know where to look in it .new skidplates are being ordered to correct this problem.hope this made sense

 

I must assume you are referring to the inner CV axle seal. If so, there are no special tools / skills to replace. I have replaced the one on my left side "3" times. (When it started leaking for the "4th" time, I removed the 2 inch H/L lift kit,, problem went away.
Invest in a Kawa service manual. Best $36.00 I have ever spent. It will assist you in performing typical maintance and other than typical maintance repairs yourself. The cost of the service manual is less than a 1 hour labor service charge at any dealer.
