want to know what weight oil to use for my prarie 3oo

 

we just use the regular Kawichem that you can buy at any dealership

 

Thats fine but I was asking what weight oil is it. I like to use amsoil and without the manual I dont know the corect weight. I think it is 0-40 and am just looking for confirmation.

Kawasaki says to use 10w30, 10w40, or 20w50 they are not picky. I use Schaeffer's synthetic blend 15w40 that i also use in my equipment fleet. (www.schaefferoil.com) It flows as good as 10w30 in the cold, but has the protection of a heavier weight oil when warm, and being syn. blend, withstands the higher heat of the air cooled 300 motor. Don't use Kawi oil, spend your money on a quality oil. OEM oil is overpriced.

 

we use 30weight in our prairie 300
