650 PRARIE PROBLEMS

Default 650 PRARIE PROBLEMS

If it was a problem with the tranny failing then the bike wouldn't run at all or at least any movement would make a heck of a racket. He's talking about 4wd not engaging properly and I think that is an unrelated problem.

It's definitely the tranny. If you're lucky it will unjam and you can use high range otherwise it's a tow job. The motor/tranny have to come out to the bench to redo them.

You're right, Scotia650. ROPADOPA's problems are somewhere between the 4x4 actuator/servo and the controller. He'll have to go through the testing procedure in the service manual.

Default 650 PRARIE PROBLEMS

i have this little problem when i put my bike in gear,forward or reverse,i sometimes have to tap the throttle alittle to get it to go into gear,but not always.is this my linkage or is this common?
