Default Can't get 90cc fusion running.....

Bought a 90cc fusion would not start, turned over but wouldn't start, replaced battery and solenoid, now it clicks (sounds like the solenoid clicking) but will not turn over. Any suggestions? If it's the starter where can you get replacement parts?

it is the starter, so any idea where you can get replacement parts for these?

The starter did turn the motor before? Did you re-charge the battery?

When the motor was spinning before, did you get anything? Fuel, fire and air.

If I understand your post correctly: Your starter was turning fine, then you changed some stuff, and now the starter doesn't turn at all. It doesn't sound like your starter is bad to me. It sound more like the stuff you just changed.

Did your new battery come with an empty battery core and a jug of acid which you had to add? If so, your new battery woke up only partially charged. Maybe this is your problem. Like Geoff_NJ said you need to charge your battery before trying to crank (and crank, and crank) a quad with starting problems.

Did you try jumping your quad to your car? That would eliminate your new (but maybe dead) battery as a cause of of the starter not turning.

Try shorting the two solenoid big screw terminals together with a screwdriver (ignore any minor sparking). Does the starter turn now?

Once you get the starter issues resolved then the next step is to check for spark.

I think you may want to get a ohm meter and start checking things out.

I'm confused.

First you say it...

'turned over but wouldn't start'.
Then you changed some stuff and said...

'it still will not turn over...' (itallics/bold added)
I need some clarification. These statements conflict...

And as LT80 suggested, you also will need to get a voltmeter at the ready.
