Good morning everyone,
I finally took the time to do some clutch maintenance to my son's new LT80. Well new to him. The previous owners obviously neglected maintenance as a whole and especially forgot about the clutch.
The rollers were melted, turned and had destroyed both the movable face and plate. The belt was only hanging on by a thread. Time for some new parts. Any recommendation on parts houses to patronize?

Second is the clutch dampers were missing. I seem to remember reading somewhere that they are not needed. Is this true?

As a former LT80 owner, I was just curious, what are the clutch dampers you refer to?

Lil plastic things that go on the roller plate to allow it to slide on the variator.
We used to call them horse shoes.
