today while riding my eton really took off today. i think its the first time it hit the 7k redline since ive had it. the odd part is ive had it set to it since ive had it. i was riding a trail for about ~30 ish minutes about the same pace (the 10 mph range, sounded like the 3000 rpm range). then while i was heading back to the house had it floored then the engine just started climbing. finally it sounded like it topped out, i had to be doing at least double the usual speed it was going. it kind of scared me because it was smoking like crazy, like there was just a smoke cloud following me. i took off back up the road a couple times just to see if it was a fluke, itd get to around the usual speed, chill there for a minute then start to climb to where it got. same amout of smoke and all. a friend of mine suspects the exhaust is clogged up with oil gum and all the extra smoke is the engine trying to burn it out. im not too sure so i just want a second opinion. thanks in advance for any help
