@LT80 , I got all the grease cleaned out that I could. I've attached pictures below of what it looks like now. I can sand the rust off. Just didn't wanna put more effort in to be told it looks like garbage and to buy new lol. It feels smooth inside not deep gouges. And the plastic clips are still super sturdy. None broken.

Let me know if you need any other angles!

I thought so too! I'll order the rollers and other random parts I need and I'll update once I get it back together!

How does that one piece look where the key sits?

Found that the carb and the plastic plate between the reed cage was missing that tiny o-ring gasket. Need to get one of them too.

@LT80 I have one more question before ordering everything. The air filter, I've read that you're supposed to oil them. Same as some older riding mowers. I haven't oiled the rider and I didn't oil the other lt80 I have and they run just fine. The uni filter (only one on Amazon now. I have an Athena in the other quad) says it must be oiled.

Should I oil it? What's the benefits of doing so and the drawbacks of not doing so?

I wouldn't oil the rider either. I tried once. He fell off. LMFAO!!
Yes, they should be oiled.
positive: cleaner air going into motor.
Downside: more dirt going in motor. You can buy Bell Ray filter oil (what I used when we raced) or make it simple and use any motor oil (what I use now). Any oil beats no oil on the filters.

Aw man. That was a horrible dad joke and I laughed so hard. Lmao.

I will have to get some of that oil to try it. When should the filters be changed? More frequently? Or how do you tell if it's oily and sucks more crap up?

You clean them. I use gasoline. Let them dry and oil em up again.
