Default 110cc Raptor style copy

There is a 110cc raptor style copy atv on ebay (item #2425512218), it has a 4-stroke Honda style engine 3 speed auto clutch trans and reverse, shaft drive. I was wondering if anyone ever heard of or seen one of these machines, and what you think about them, does this sound like a decent machine or should I stay away from it.

This is prolly a import.
Whether you should think about it all depends on what you want to do w/it. Meaning "if" it going to be raced any, then the 110cc "may" be a problem depending on the race organization.
The common machines are in the 90cc range, thus working on or finding someone with parts for a 90 may be easier.
Good luck

yes, the 110 type copy is made in China if its the same as the ones here in Australia. The manufacturers ID plate on the chassis behind the front crash bar should show the country of manufacture.
Being shaft drive robs them of some horsepower, usually around 30%.
Did they tell you that the reverse gear takes the place of fouth gear? without 4th, you might be a tad disappointed. Try to get a ride on one before you part with your bucks.

I sell those, and have had no complaints on quality. Like it has been said, they are slower than you might like, especially for an adult rider. Peppy, and they move nicely, but slow top end. The same manufacturer makes a water cooled 250 that would likely suit you better, and still way cheaper.

so this is probably the same quad they're selling here in Canada through www.atvforless.ca ? Please check their site and let me know what you think cheapass. Also, are parts/support readily available for these cheapass? any criticism at al?I thought I saw a top speed of 40MPH for them?If not, can they be modded for more?
