You do have to turn them face in when you swap from left to right and visa versa. Some people have gone with this option because they can't afford the spacers or they are not sure if they want to spend the money on spacers or longer a-arms. Either way it is an option. Longer a-arms tends to be the best way but is very expensive because you have to buy shocks also. There is also extensions made for the a-arms on the LT80 that add 3" to each side of the front. Total of 6" of width to the front. They are relatively cheap. If you are not aware of these let me know and I will get back to you on the manufacturer/web site. Then you could add spacers to the back. Good luck.

Here is did to mine to widen the front. I flipped the wheels, plugged the old valve stem holes with JBWeld and drilled two new ones on the oposite side. That gained me an inch per side. Next I knocked out the wheel studs and put in 3" long bolts and two nuts per bolt on the wheel side as spacers. I had to grind a little off the sides of the head of the bolts so they would fit in the stud slot. This gained me one and a half inches. Total gain per side 2.5 inches. Total cost 6 dollars. Total time 2 hrs. I can probibly get photos if you need them. Let me know.

If you turn the front wheels around, you need to watch as the valve stem usually hits the hub/brake parts. It would make it wider tho.Usually when extra holes are drilled to place the valve stem, another stem is put in backwards to fill the original hole.
+3 a-arms: most are made to accept the stock shocks.

Excellent advice on home made spacers, about 2 weeks late for me. I already bought Duablue rear spacers.
Where can you find better, long stroke shocks for the mini quads?
My mini rider's don't race, just would like to make the suspension acutally work on them.
