Well Sunday my boy broke the engine cases on the Lt. Where the rear bolts through the cases they cracked and broke big time. Now I need to find another set of cases. Anyone? Also I contacted Brake racing today and they say they went throught several sets last year. Anyone else having this problem? If so is there a cure.

Now I'm seriously debating on selling the Lt80 for a Kasea. This sucks cuz I just bought full Works suspension for the Lt this week.

 

Yes this is common once you start to get some air or you start pushing these bikes hard.There are some improved cases I believe, as well as some welding reinforcing you can do.I'm sure the LT80 experts will jump in and let you know whats the best fix.

 

To be honest, this break was mechanically induced <G>. The bolts had to be loose to break where it did.
The cases usually break in another area.

I guess chalk this one up to a lesson learned! So if anyone has some cases they wanna sell please let me know.

we broke several cases last year aslo but never were you did i agree with lt80 something was loose .spend the money on new cases and get it reinforced right away we haven't broke one yet this year they are made alot better than they were years ago.just my opinion.
