Q4F.....

I am running a Jack Moore modded motor and clutch. I was running stock pipe until a couple of months ago. The Trinity pipe helped the holeshot ALOT!

Congrats to you and the rider.
All I did was give him a chromed tool. He turned it!

I'll like a pic of him on his machine with his trophy/plaque if at all possible.

Cool, thanks. Good holeshots are sweet..............

I'm trying to find a cheap used LT to build up. I found 2 Lt 80's for $800.
But haven't got ahold of the guy yet to see what they are.

I want to send off a motor to Mr. Jack to see what all you guys keep bragging about

I'm also trying to figure out the rear clutch mod thing I've seen few guys talk about.
Trimming them down to about 175 grams I think.
Not sure where to take the material from on each of them.
We'll see if I accomplish this one or not.............

is the hole to fill the tranny back with oil located towards the end of the bike of in the middle? also, there is a nipple that is close to the rear of the bike on the case that is not plugged with any hose, i will try to get a picture of it and show you guys, i was just wondering if it needed to be plugged.

thanks,

Kelly

I believe that you are descibing the gear box vent next to the gear box fill plug. this should have some tubing to strapped to a high spot on the frame to help stop water from getting in while going through water.

thanks for answering my question. But regardless of how high a tube will be mounted, can't anything get inside it, like sand or dirt?

Also, do you guys know what part of the quad has the location to pour new oil in?

thanks,

Kelly

First the question with the breather tube- the crank case needs a vent to let the expanding air vent out when it heats up, it is a natural breathing tube ( 1/4" ). if up and out of the way it will not get dirt inside like your pre mix oil tank has a vent.

The gear box fill location is right next to the vent, all is, is a cap bolt head that you screw out, the drain is right underneath the fill.
