Hey:

Any of you know what the gear pattern is to get the Yamoto 110cc into reverse gear?

All the way down is reverse. From the bottom up it goes reverse, N, low, mid, and high. Is it hard to shift?

No, it's not hard to shift. I just got the ATV and there isn't anything in the manual. Is there anything I should know about it being hard to shift?

I just bought one for my daughter who is 10 and she cant shift it. When I get on it it is hard for me too. It is easier for me to shift by reaching down and pulling up on the shifter with my hand???? I called and they said give it time to break in?

I bent the shifter out on my 150, and now it is much easier to shift. It was in an awkward position before.

Yes thats our problem. Its not that it is hard to shift mechanical wise but that it is in a position that has no leverage. I rotated the shifter down but I will try bendig it outward as well. I thought of even welding on a heel part that she can push on.

Dear Dirt Riding machines:
I am an authorized Yamoto dealer. We have also started a forum right here in ATV Connection to try to help out anyone having trouble with there units. In regard to you problem with your Yamoto 110cc The loud sound you are hearing in 3rd gear in normal. I know it sounds a little crazy but that loud sweaking we go away after you have about 60 or so hours on the unit. There is something about how Yamoto makes there 3rd gear that takes it a long time to break in. I suggest that you do not keep in wide open in 3rd till this sound starts to get lower but it will go away. Feel free to take a look at are forum also or come visit us at www.racewayatv.com Or call us at are toll free number 1-888-RACE ATV.
All the best.
