That Griz 80 was a finalist for me, but went with the SP 90. I'm dying to know how it is and does on the trails. Hills? Negotiating rocks? Suspension? Working that 3 speed, is it easy for Jr.? Can it climb in 1st gear? Low end power? Ya know, fill me in the best you can. I'm not opposed to sell my SP 90 next yr if it's worth it.

Thanks.

It is the same quad as the raptor 80. Which is the same quad as the Badger. Which was the same quad as the moto4 except the older moto 4's didn't have rear suspension. Just different plastic, thats it! They are a great trail machine. They are not race machine's!!! The 3 speed is really nice if your in hilly areas, because you have engine breaking. Also the 3 speed can be made to start in gear easly, then you can put it in first gear then take off the gear shifter to limit speed. Our badger could haul my 220 lbs up anything I was stupid enough to try.

I'm pretty familiar to the Griz's origin, but love the idea of a 4 stroke. However, a 4 stroke 90 had me worried about power. We do a lot of hill/mtn climbing as we live in Idaho. It's good to hear about it's power and ability to be low geared to do slow and go over rocky hills, etc.

i thot you'd only be driving over those "famous potatoes"! the moto 80 had no front shocks either, and was a 4 speed vs. 3-spd now. we've got an '03 Raptor. it's been driven pretty hard. no problems so far. it's a great drive-train. ditto my Iraqi friend asfasasu, they are NOT a racer, but a great utility quad.

"ditto my Iraqi friend asfasasu,"

WHAT? Where did "Iraqi" come from? Did I mis-interpet something?

Psycmike jr. is 50" and about 53 lbs. What's up? He'd do well on a 4 stroke and I believe it'd haul his patuski up any hill. What do you think?
