I'm curious. Why is it you feel the need to go to 96cc's?
I guess I should explain::
54mm piston (supposed 105 piston) with stock stroke (42mm)=96.189cc's
54.5 piston with a 45mm stroker crank=104.977cc's
I don't think anyone is going to make a stroker in 3 weeks.

So What's your compression and what pipe are you using?
Your just looking to bore your existing cylinder to 54mm? (you know, you can do that)
May I ask who did your work?

Like LT 80 said you will gain little power with a different crank and the same cylinder you'r port timing will be all wrong. For more lowend and mid, higher compression an aftermarket carb or higher stall will help a bunch. Was your cylinder ported for topend or trail riding? Compression in the 100-120psi range will be pretty weak off the line with a ported/piped bike, you didnt say what yours was.

Well IMO,, you should ditch that DG and get a Trinity/Hetrick pipe. Rich didn't mention this? hmmmmm....
I had a 2 guys that were running stock pipes (the stock pipe is comparable to the DG) and was going to get another machine, instead I told them to get a pipe. They did it and was amazed. One even beat a EXC70 Cobra.
This is the email reply from the other:::
well jack put it back together tonite and we tried it.
the thing stood him straight up.there is a little
hesitation on low end but it's minimal. is there any thing i could do to
soften take off.it's hard to ride with the front end
off the ground.thanks for everything.

As that indicates, it can make that big of difference.

Yeah Rich did recommend those pipes. i guess ill have to get one and try it Hw said that the DG was ok, but that was only to match the exhaust porting. I guess the expansion chamber is what is gonna make the big difference. mabye ill try that route first .thanks LT...
